These metamorphic objects that I’ve created from recycled material conjure up images of the body, the habitat and nature. I’ve used textile and wood as these are the preferred materials used in clothing and architecture, inherent aspects of human existence.

A single look can change how we see the world. This is how, from my surroundings, I select elements that all of a sudden take on a new meaning, another purpose. This clothing that I deconstruct is like a section of wall that I take down, on which I intervene with pigment.
